Find Prescription Drug Prices
Louisiana Health Finder helps you compare retail prices for the 100 most commonly
prescribed drugs. You know that the cost of prescription drugs can vary from pharmacy
to pharmacy. Now, you can find the medications you need at the most affordable prices.
The information comes from the Louisiana Medicaid Pharmacy Benefits Management Program,
which collects the “usual and customary” prices for these drugs. This “usual and
customary” price is comparable to the amount that a person without a health care
plan would pay. And if you have a health care plan or a drug discount card, you
could save even more from these listed prices. Use Louisiana Health Finder to find
the best health care plan for you. Or, speak with
your pharmacy to learn about drug discount programs that are available.

How to Search
- Choose whether you want to search by Parish and City OR by ZIP Code to find pharmacies that carry your medications.
- To search by parish and city, select the parish and city from the drop down menu.
- To search by ZIP code, enter the five digit Louisiana ZIP code and select the maximum distance from that ZIP code you wish to search.
- Choose a prescription medication, dosage, and quantity from the list that appears.
Note: The medication list and prices are updated monthly. If a parish, city, or medication does not appear in the selection list, then pharmacies have not reported monthly sales of the drug in that parish or city. If a drug is not listed for your city, search for that medication in an adjacent city, or try a zipcode search. Prices may vary from day to day, and prices shown on this site are not guaranteed.
